Or, should I have the taller diaper pail in the bathroom and a shorter trash can in the nursery (for wet diapers and wipes)?

I’m trying to make a realistic guesstimate of how much junk we’ll want to lug when we leave the house with a baby…

I’m looking at two bags; one is 11″H x 15″W x 6″D, and the other a bit smaller, 9″H x 10¾”W x 4¾”D.

Am I right in thinking that the little one will be fine for quick trips around the neighbourhood, and the larger one okay for longer outings?

What’s in your diaper bag? And what’s essential (er, okay — diapers!), and what’s just nice to have?

We think it could be a contact rash from the abbrasion of the diaper but we’re not sure.
