Is a baby shower important enough to decline a good friends birthday party?
Baby GeneralIn Need Of Help asked:
Hello, I am just wondering if a “Baby Shower” is important enough to decline a friends party that I already told that I was going, now I can’t because of the baby shower? The party is tomorrow and I don’t know how to excuse without hurting her feelings. Thank you.

unless is it true that you will go to a baby shower , that is enough reason to deny the bday party of your friend. bday is every year baby shower is once in a lifetime.

For these type of things - you should keep your prior commitment (the birthday party). It sounds as if you have to go to the baby shower though and if that’s the case - just be nice, be honest, apologize and make it up somehow later….

Yea, she will probably understand. Just remember that it will probably make her happy if you decide to go.

Today, baby showers are considered one of the most important celebrations for parents. Of course, how this party is planned and celebrate has changed over time. Although many old baby shower traditions are still widely seen, new ones have also emerged.
