What type of baby shower gift should a class of high school seniors give to a French teacher?

We Tigers asked:


My beloved AP French teacher is pregnant, and my class has decided to buy her a baby shower gift. She is very important to all of us, and has instilled an immense passion and love for the French language within us. So, we definitely would like to purchase something that showcases our appreciation for her, and of course, it must endearing!
Any ideas welcome! Thank you! Also, she is expecting a girl, and she is very nice and modest (the teacher, not the baby!)

   Well give here something that will be endearing, maybe a keepsake that will preserve a moment in time like a Keepsake album with the baby’s footprint. There are kits that are very nice.

   You may also want to consider a baby gift basket that offers a variety of things mom and baby can use.

   Being her students I would stay away from items like car seats, strollers, furniture, etc… as family members tend to buy these.
