What is the difference between a convertible & non-convertible crib?
Baby BeddingRed21 asked:
We’re happily adding a new addition to our family! My first at that! As I look for cribs, I know I want a 4 in 1 crib that I can use for years to come (as well as with our next child), but don’t really understand what the difference is between the two. Please help! Thanks!

nonconvertible doesn’t change ,the convertible ones can be changed into a little bed for when they get to big for the crib.it makes a great first bed.

I bought a convertible crib for my second.
It can go-crib, toddler bed,day bed and full bed.
Basically, you can change the bed as the baby grows so you do not have to purchase more in the future.

I have a convertible 4 in 1 crib. It’s a crib, then toddler bed, then day bed, then full bed.
The main difference is that you have multiple options with a convertible crib and only one option (crib) with a non-convertible.
One thing I didn’t know was that the convertible cribs don’t have drop sides. I had a C-Section and it hurt my incision to lean over the crib to pick her up, drop side would’ve been nice.
