it is really not necessary to use it everytime. Why put medicine on them when not needed. Use vaseline if you want to use something. Desitin, just when some redness is appearing

An okay habit to get into but make sure to put it on cream on another diaper rash.

i wouldn’t put it on every time, because then when he gets a rash it might not work.
i would just put it on there if you start to see it become red, or sore.. or if he has a upset belly & goes poop a lot. Desitin works good-so when you start using it, it will work fast.

I’ve never heard that it’s bad to do. Personally I would put on Vaseline (they sell it in a tube, also) on if he doesn’t have a rash. It will be a barrier. They also have the Desitin Clear that would do the same. The Vaseline just doesn’t have any of the active ingredient.
