My favorite were the newborn swaddlers. I have never had any problems with them and they never leaked.

I liked the pampers swaddlers when my son was a newborn. Then once he outgrew those, i switched to huggies supreme natural fit.

I loved the Pampers Swaddlers! I use the Pampers Cruisers now i found that my little man got a rash from huggies! Though i find Huggies wipes more durable!

I agree with the other ladies. Definately pampers swaddlers, they don’t leak and they fit very nice. I dont know anyone yet who has used them and doesnt swear by them. My next newborn is being swaddled by pampers for sure. I have a son and I tried many brands and this was my fav!

Depends on the body style.
I just had a little boy in July and we have been using Huggies.
My little girl is 3 1/2 years old now, but we ended up settling on Pampers with her(swaddlers to cruisers).
Here is the deal though. Usually you get a lot of diapers, wipes, etc at your baby shower. Plus you can kinda stock up at the hospital. Use that stash of goods to see what kind works, and what doesn’t.
ALSO…ELASTIC FIT RULES!!! Most diaper manufacturers offer the stretchy sides…but also look for the ones with the stretchy tabs. Those hard/semi-hard tabs can be irritating or uncomfortable. And that is really what it is all about, your baby being comfortable. His been riding along, enjoying life from the womb where the forecast is mostly cloudy and mid to high 90s. Now things are gonna be brighter and, thanks to the season, colder(pending where you live)…so comfort is key.
Congratulations by the way! Have you settled on a name yet? Hope everything goes smooth! My boy was a week early and 10 lbs 1 oz. (don’t worry, he was a scheduled Cesarean)

I personally love the Huggies Newborn Gentle Care diapers, the front on them are cut down lower for the umbilical (sp?) cord and the tabs are stretchy and they fit up until 10lbs. My daughter is still using them and she’s 4wks old
Good luck and CONGRATS!! And yes the hospital does provide that stuff for you, but the hospital I was at used size 1 diapers and they were HUGE on her, and they werent cut lower in the front so it rubbed on her little stump, so I was glad I brought my own diapers in.

We used Huggies newborn for the first 160 diapers, but after we ran out, we switched to pampers swaddlers, and I like them a lot better. The liner has big enough holes that the seedy stuff in the stool can pass through, leaving her a lot dryer and more comfortable. My little one is exclusively breastfed and passes a small amount of stool every time she passes gas, so the liner has really saved her from getting diaper rash. With the Huggies newborn diapers she got super red.

I personally used the pampers swaddlers and will use the pampers cruisers. I like the mesh lining as well as the stretchy sides. The huggies newborns are cut better for the umbilical cord. If I wasn’t stuck on the lining, I may have used those. Luvs have come a long way with there bear hug strech and I use those occassionally if money is tight (I have two in diapers). The person who said that huggies wipes are thicker is absolutely right. Especially with the first poops! I used the Hospital type wipes (the weave like dry ones that you have to use warm water and a dash of baby soap with) for the first few weeks though. The warm water makes it easy to get the poop off and my kids were too sensitive for even the sensitive wipes at first. Hope this helps and congrats!
Ps: If anyone needs help in finding the hospital type wipes, contact me. I have a reorder number that any medical supply store can use to order them.

I used cloth with my twin boys. They were really good for us, as my kids are allergic to plastic. A lot of disposable nappies have plastic in them.
)
I used Huggies Newborn for boys in hospital and they fitted nicely. The only problem was they had a rash after 3 days!! And that put a stop to that.
It is touch and go with a lot of brands in the first few months. I tried thousands of wipes, before I settled on one. (yeah boring old wash cloth with soapy water
Have fun with your new baby!!

Huggies CuddleWeave. They worked great. They’re the ones with Winnie the Pooh on them.

pampers newborn swaddles. I still use pampers, they are so soft on the babies body and they are very good with no leaks.

I greatly preferred pampers swaddlers to all other newborn diapers… I tried huggies, luvs, and a few store brands.
My daughter is now in size 1 diapers. I prefer the pampers baby dry size 1s to the pampers swaddlers. They seem more absorbant and elastic-y. I also like the huggies size 1s, though I didn’t care for the newborn ones as much as the swaddlers. I just bought a pack of Luvs size 1 to try out and HATE them. They feel like rigid cardboard to me.

I love the newborn pampers swaddlers! The swaddlers run up to size 2 I think…….we are now is size 3’s and are using huggies. They seem to work fine. But for the newborn I just loved the pampers swaddlers!
