Which brand of disposable diapers can cause a baby to have diaper rash more often?

My 1 year old son seems to constantly have diaper rash. I have started using baby powder and letting his butt air out for about 30 minutes every day, and it has helped wonderfully. But I have read that the absorbent gel in the diapers can cause a rash. I just wanna know different opinions out there. Which brand can cause diaper rash the most and which brand can cause it the least. Also, which diapers have the least about of gel in them? Thanks!

   i think that every baby has a different sensitivity to diapers but my dr sugessted to me to put diaper rash cream after every changing to prevent diaper rash and it worked!!! when i don’t use it every time i notice that she is easier prone to get rash!!

   Some babies are just naturally prone to diaper rash… I would try switching to a different brand… Maybe contact some diaper companies to send you some samples so you don’t have to buy different packs of diapers to try…

   Berkeley and Jensen diapers sold at BJ’S wholesale club are very good diapers and they have a money-back guarantee it’s around $20 for a BIG box of diapers that would probably last a month or even two for one baby !

   I would also change him more often and use a diaper rash cream…

   I don’t think there is any particular brand, because different babies are allergic to different types. Generally, ones that are scented or are less absorbent would definitely be more prone to cause diaper rash.

   The scent and the chlorine on most disposable diapers are I think the leading cause of diaper rash. Look at Seventh Generation diapers (free of scents and chlorine). If you think that your baby is allergic to the SAP gel then look into Tushies disposables, they are gel-free:

   Personally, I have chosen to cloth diaper and we have no diaper rash here ever!
