What is the best stroller for a big 18 month old?

I already have a Peg Perego Plikto which he’s grown out of. I am looking for an everyday somewhat lightweight stroller that reclines and is large enough for him to be comfortable in case he falls asleep.

I’ve got a full-size Evenflo Comfort fold stroller that I’ve used for all three of my children. It adjusts so that it can lay nearly flat if need be. The bottom is nice for storing stuff while walking. My 17-month-old is currently used it and my five and three-year-old both loved it too!

Try a Baby Jogger. They have lots of different strollers based on what you want to do with them. Some you can attach to a bike, some you can walk in the mall, on a trail, run on the road, etc. I recommend the City Mini. Check out the website.

just the simple one at walmart that is really light. My niece (whom i live with) loves to push her dolls a round and loves to go for a walk.

I have a graco quattro which someone suggested, but don’t get one if as you said you want something light weight. I think mine weighs about 35 pounds. Its very comfy for my son but tough to lug around when you are juggling kids and groceries.

We use a $50 Seasame Street stroller from Kmart for our son… and it works just fine. He is 17 months old and 26 lbs… so not huge, but not small either.

I have a Chicco Tuscany umbrella stroller. It’s an older model now, but similar styles are out there. My son began to use this at 14 months and I just loved it.
As an umbrella stroller, it has the metal aluminum very lightweight frame as opposed to cheap plastic. It folds up so nicely. The seat DOES recline and he took plenty of naps in it! One of my only reasons for this purchase: a reclining seat. For an umbrella stroller, it had a nice sized basket.
Now the drawbacks-as an umbrella stroller, there is no snack tray, and no cup holder for the parent. 2 minor setbacks but I adapted, and so did my son. It really taught him how to hold onto his sippy cup! I used the retractable canopy as my own phone/water bottle holder.
This stroller traveled well on a plane and over rough terrain. I definately got my monies worth out of this one, and I’ll have to clean it up to sell now that he no longer needs a stroller.
